Campbell Family Quick Update

Ok to get us off to a good start, I guess I'd better give a quick update on everyone. In a nut shell-

Ron - As of Monday he is officially a SENIOR! Yea! He has a 3 week externship starting next week at the Indian Hospital in Claremore and then has a couple weeks off. He goes back to school in Oklahoma City the last week in August. It will be nice to have him home everynight until then. With gas prices as they are...he hasn't been able to drive back and forth as much as he had in the past. He spent a lot more time at his apartment in OKC this last year. The count down has begun...only 8 more months of Dental School! We can't wait.

Sherry- I'm working hard at the shop. It takes a lot of work and time. I'd like to be able to hire someone...but the thought of another expense is frightening. Business is growing leaps and bounds. It's too much for one person to handle now. Juggling has become my expertise. Ron and I are still in Primary! We've been there for like 4 years now. We've been in Primary longer than it's taken Ron to get thru dental school. We teach Haleigh's class now as CTR 8's. We taught them 3 years ago as CTR 5's. It's our second time around with them and we've truly grown to love them all. As much as we'd like a break from Primary...they'd be very hard to leave.

Whitney- Just returned from E.F.Y. and had an "amazing" time. She made lots of new friends and misses it a lot. This was her 2nd year to go to E.F.Y. Lawrence, KS. While she was gone, the kids and I got the bright idea to redo her room. We painted and moved things around and she had a great surprise when so got home. Girls camp is her next big adventure with band starting the same day as the last day of camp. This year she will be a YCL at camp. She plays the bass clarinet and is very good. Marching Band here in Owasso is not taken lightly. They don't mess around! She told me to add that she is aspiring to become a professional musician.

Maddi- Maddison just entered into Young Women's a couple of weeks ago and loves being a Beehive. She will also be going to girls camp as a first year. She'll have Whitney and her cousin Natalee to show he the ropes. This year they will have a new campsite complete with cabins. Hardly seems like camping to me. She is looking forward to starting 6th grade at the Sixth Grade Center in the fall. It will be a big adjustment from elementary school. She will be starting band too.

Riley- Riley will be in 5th grade and the big man on campus. He enjoys cub scouts where he is a Webelo, and just about anything where he gets to be with other boys. His sisters can be a bit demanding at times. It's hard be the little brother and only boy. He's looking forward to Dad being done with school.

Haleigh- will turn 8 in August and is looking forward to her baptism. She's already picked out a new white dress and can't wait to turn 8. Hardly seems possibly that our baby is about to be the last one to be baptized. She is looking forward to grandma and grandpa visiting. She will be baptized Labor Day weekend in case anyone else is in the neighborhood.
